Fans have voted Bundesliga player of the season and Leverkusen's Wertz has been named the winner.

This season, Wilts played 32 Bundesliga games, scoring 11 goals and giving 12 assists, and was one of the contributors to Leverkusen's Bundesliga victory.

With 1.2 million votes cast in the poll, organised by German newspaper Transfer Market, Wiltz won more than 50 per cent of the vote, with Kane second.

It is worth mentioning that Bellingham won the best player in the Bundesliga last season.
