Two more years, official: Villa have renewed their contract with Emery until 2029【hongyan】

    Aston Villa are delighted to announce that the club and manager Unai Emery have agreed a new five-year contract. Emery led the team to fourth place in the Premier League this season, leading the team into the Champions League (reformed Champions League) for the first time in its history.

    Since taking over in 2022, Emery has revolutionised the club's fortunes. In his first season in charge, he took the team from 17th to seventh in the table, taking Villa into European competition for the first time in 13 years.
