The English Premier League club Manchester United is to cut up to 200 jobs as it seeks to return to profit after five years of losses [jiayu]


English Premier League club Manchester United announced on February 24 that it will cut about 150 to 200 jobs as part of a structural transformation plan. The cuts are the latest after Manchester United cut 250 jobs last year.

United chief executive Omar Berrada said the club had lost money for five years in a row and the situation could not continue.
