Norwich City are increasingly confident of agreeing a deal with Arsenal to hire Jack Wilshere as first-team coach, Sky Sports reported on October 18.
Wilshere rejoined his boyhood club in 2022 and is currently in charge of Arsenal's Under-18 team. Wilshere, who retired at the age of 30 after a series of injury problems, is in talks with Norwich and says he is excited about the team's plans.
Norwich may have to pay Arsenal a compensation fee and they are inching closer to a formal appointment. Wilshere will replace Pelach, who left the Norwich coaching staff to become Stoke's manager.
Norwich are currently seventh in the Championship.
