Sale: Laporte is Real Madrid's signing option, the player is willing to take a big pay cut back to Europe【JIAYU]

Reports from Sale Radio claim that Real Madrid see Laporte as an option to bolster their defence and that the Spain international, who currently plays for Riyadh Victory, would be willing to take a pay cut to return to Europe.

The 30-year-old moved to Riyadh Victory from Manchester City for 27.5 million euros last summer, and although he has been away from Europe's mainstream leagues for a year, Laporte has played well in the European Championship this summer, ultimately helping the Spanish national team win the European Championship.

Now according to the Sayre radio, Real Madrid regards laporte as an option for the team's defensive line, and the player himself is willing to take a big pay cut in order to return to the mainstream league in Europe, but the Riyadh victory is an obstacle to the deal.

Laporte's current contract with Riyadh Victory runs until 2026 and he is currently worth €20 million in Germany.
