According to Romano, Manchester United winger Samuel Mather has signed a new contract until 2027.
Romano said United had agreed a contract extension with 19-year-old England winger Mather until June 2027, with an option for a further year.
Mather, who currently plays for Manchester United's Under-21 team, moved to Rochdale on loan for the second half of last season, making 10 appearances for Rochdale and scoring two goals.
