    English midfielder Gallagher, currently playing for Chelsea, has yet to agree a move to Atletico Madrid and contacts between the two sides are continuing, according to well-known transfer reporter Romano.

    Romano wrote on his social media account: "Atletico Madrid is waiting for Gallagher's decision and expects a clear result this weekend. So far, the players have not given clear consent... But contacts continue. Chelsea are waiting [for an answer from the player] because they have agreed a €40m deal with Atletico Madrid."
