Well-known journalist Romano updated Arsenal's goalkeeping problems and added to the current rumors.

"Arsenal and Bournemouth have reached a verbal agreement for Neto to be Arsenal's backup goalkeeper," Romano said on his social media account.

"But the deal will only happen if Arsenal are unable to sign Jose Garcia, as Espanyol have today rejected two offers from Arsenal. Espanyol are insisting that the release clause be triggered or they will not sell."
