Romano: Carafiore gives green light to move to Arsenal as Chelsea remain in contention(YAJING)

Romano said in his Daily Briefing column that Carafiore has given the green light to a move to Arsenal, but Chelsea are still in the race.

Romano said: "Since last week, both Arsenal and Chelsea have been interested in Carafiore, both clubs want to sign the Italian centre-back, now Arsenal have offered the player a long-term contract, salary is not an issue." They also briefed the player on the club's plans and if Arsenal can reach an agreement with Bologna, Carafiore is willing to join the Gunners."

"So, Carafiore has given the green light to join Arsenal. As for Chelsea, my understanding is that they are prepared to approach Bologna and will try to add other players to the deal, which is a different strategy from Arsenal. Even though Arsenal are the favourites to sign Carafiore, Chelsea are still in the race."
