Madrid (Reuters) - Real Madrid coach Ancelotti said on Thursday (Aug 29) that despite his team's equaliser in the 69th minute of the second half through Brazilian striker Vinicius' penalty, It was a 1-1 draw away to lowly Las Palmas, but there are no excuses for the team's slow start to the La Liga season.
Ancelotti said he expected the team to work better together, placing the blame on himself and saying he needed to work harder and do better.
Real, who won La Liga and the Champions League last season after opening the season with just one win in three games, are fifth in the table on five points, four behind leaders Barcelona.
