New York City have announced the transfer of left-back McFarlane to Manchester City, and will receive a percentage of the transfer if Manchester City sells McFarlane.
The 18-year-old McFarlane, who is 1.83 metres tall and has dual British and American citizenship, plays as a left-back. Last season, he made 13 appearances for New York City in the MLS and League Cup, including nine starts. He has also been selected for the England Under-16 and Under-17 national teams and is worth €2 million.
