Empoli have re-signed Moroccan midfielder Malech on loan from Lecce with a buy-out clause, club officials have announced.

In the 2023-24 season, the 25-year-old Malech was loaned to Empoli by Lecce. In total, he played 34 Serie A games for Empoli (30 starts), playing a total of 2,610 minutes and contributing 1 assist.

The official announcement read: "Malech is once again a member of Empoli. Empoli hereby announce that they have reached an agreement with Lecce to sign Malech on loan with a buyout clause.
