Negotiations over a move for Ugarte to Manchester United have progressed with Paris reducing their asking price [JIAYU]


United and Paris held fresh talks over Ugarte over the weekend and progress has been made.

According to Ovacion's sources close to the players, in the next few hours, the two sides may resolve their financial differences and finalize a contract. Paris are hoping to recoup from Ugarte the €60 million they paid to sign the player from Sporting Portugal, but Manchester United's previous offer was €8 million less.

In negotiations over the weekend, Paris reduced the asking price, the player also made an effort to leave the team, he wants to move to Manchester United to get more playing time than in Paris, agent Jorge Mendes is on his way to Manchester City to complete the deal.
