Martial earns €3.5m a year at Athens and £250,000 a week at Manchester United [JIAYU]


Greek super League team AEK Athens have confirmed that Martial will join the team on a free transfer. The 28-year-old French striker will be away from the Big Five early.

According to the Greek media Fos news, Martial and AEK Athens finalised a three-year contract, Martial in the new club's annual salary of 3.5 million euros.

This means that Martial's salary will be significantly reduced compared to his time at United. Martial earned £250,000 a week in his final season at Manchester United, or around £15m a year.
