Marco van Basten predicts that Paris will be able to eliminate Arsenal and beat Barcelona in the final to win the Champions League [jiayu]


Dutch coach Marco van Basten recently predicted that Paris will beat Arsenal in the Champions League final to win the Champions League this season.

Paris Saint-Germain will face Aston Villa in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, the first leg of the Greater Paris 3-1 home win, which is in line with van Basten's prediction that the Dutchman will be able to eliminate their opponents, smoothly through to the semi-finals.

Van Basten further predicted: "After that Paris Saint-Germain will play Barcelona in the final. I'm going to make a bold prediction that PSG will win the Champions League this time. Paris Saint-Germain has invested about 15 years of their time and heart in this moment. Manchester City are a team in a similar situation to Paris, they have won the Champions League, but PSG have not. I'm sure sooner or later it will happen to them and they've got a fantastic team."
