So far, United have not officially bought or sold any players this summer, with the only deal for Alvaro Fernandez coming from Benfica under the terms of his loan deal in January. However, after activating Tunhag's one-year priority renewal clause, the Red Devils' recruitment is still in order. His coaching staff has been basically set up, and two new players are also locked in.

Ruud van Nistelrooy, Haque and Tenruviral, who joined United's coaching staff on Monday, were present at Carrington but they did not take part in the first day of training as the trio are still waiting for work visas before the club can officially let them start work. Among them, Manchester United and Ajax reached a compensation agreement, the 43-year-old Tenruvillal just joined Jia Fu to leave, he only joined Ajax from Burnley this summer.
On the player front, United last week agreed personal terms with Bologna's Dzierkizer, including a five-year contract worth £5 million a year and a commission of £8.5 million for Joorabchian. The 23-year-old is close to completing a deal, but United still have to weigh up whether to pay his 40 million euro release clause or negotiate an instalment deal with Bologna.
The release fee must be paid in full, and the instalments may require a little more. Expect more clarity on that front on Wednesday, when United reports its results for the third quarter to the end of March. Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed: "Manchester United is ready to complete the transfer of Dzilkzer in the next few days, there is no problem. His contract runs until 2029, the commission and salary were agreed last week. This week the club will take official action to Bologna, which could be the payment of a release fee or other structure."
United have also reached a personal agreement with Dutch defender Dericht, 24, but are still negotiating a fee with Bayern, with talks beginning last week. Dricht has been touted as a replacement for Varane, who left as a free agent after his contract expired.
If the Netherlands go out in the semi-finals against England on Wednesday, then the transfer of Zilkzer and Dricht could be accelerated this week, and could even be completed outright. But they may not be all the players up front and in defence.
