Live on July 2nd, Manchester City players will return to the club in two weeks to start training for the new season.

City's last season ended with the FA Cup final on May 25, although most of their players were busy with their national teams, with 14 at the European Cup and Alvarez at the Copa America. Since players are expected to have at least three weeks off between the two big tournaments, it is unlikely that players participating in the summer preseason will report early.

Haaland and Gralish will travel to Manchester City on July 15 to join Guardiola before flying to the United States on July 19 for their pre-season tour. Gralish has hit the training ground and wants to make sure he is in top shape to position himself as a key player for the new season.

With Guardiola unable to call up most of his senior players, City's tour squad will also be supplemented by youngsters from the academy. Rico Lewis and Oscar Bob have both seized the opportunity to work their way into the first team over the past two years.

City will play four games in four different US states to warm up for the 2024/25 season, which will see them play Celtic in North Carolina, AC Milan in New York, Barca in Florida and then Chelsea in Ohio. They will return to the UK for their Community Shield match against Manchester United before travelling to Stamford Bridge for their Premier League opener against Chelsea.
