Pasted Image    Whether or not City win the FA Cup on Saturday, Pep Guardiola and his players will return to City centre on Sunday night to celebrate another successful season with the fans. As the Greater Manchester Run takes place earlier in the day, the Championship Parade event will take place between 7.30pm and 9pm and the route will start at the National Football Museum, pass through Cathedral Gardens and along the Deansgate area, stopping at several locations along the way.
Manchester City Council has advised fans to use public transport as roads will be closed during the run and parade, while being aware of large crowds in the city centre. Fans have been asked to travel light and not bring glass bottles.
Councillor Bev Craig, of the city council, said: "Congratulations to Manchester City on being crowned Premier League champions once again, this is an incredible achievement for the club and the players and once again proves that Manchester's world-class sporting prowess is second to none. We know how much it means to the club's fans, not just in Manchester but around the world, and Sunday's parade celebration will be an unmissable night for fans and players alike to celebrate this historic title."
