This is a report by Ernst & Young Huaming, which for the first time in the club's history delves into Arsenal's economic and social impact. The report was released on Tuesday morning and the survey revealed that Arsenal's £616 million contribution to the UK economy in 2022/23 came from Islington Borough where the club is based.
Arsenal has provided more than 4,400 jobs in the UK and generated £228 million in UK tax revenue. Meanwhile, during the 2022/23 season, the Emirates Stadium attracted 1.6 million fans, boosting the local economy.
From a societal perspective, EY's report shows that 14,000 people were involved in Arsenal's community activities in the 2022-23 season.
