Betis Sporting director: I spoke to Barca about Roque's future and hope he will stay with the team [jiayu]


February 21 - In the second leg of the UEFA League knockout play-off, Betis lost 0-1 to Ghent, but the team still beat their opponents 3-1 on aggregate. Betis sporting director Manu Fajado was interviewed about Roque's future.

Fajado said: "Barcelona called yesterday and the relationship between the two clubs is very good. Yes, he is a player who has shown that given the chance he can perform very well and with a lot of speed, he has a bright future ahead of him and hopefully he will stay with us."

Roque joined Real Betis on a one-year loan from Barca this season.
