Ten Hag has stepped down as Manchester United boss and there have been reports that the Red Devils are interested in bringing in Portugal Sporting boss Amorim to take charge. Recently, BBC Sport issued an article about Amorim, and the BBC believes that although Amorim is young, he has already achieved outstanding performance in his coaching career.

So far, Amorim has managed 244 games, with 174 wins, 34 draws and 36 defeats, a winning rate of 71.3%. Amorim has been linked with the Liverpool boss this summer, and although he is not yet 40 years old, he has already received a lot of attention.
In 2021, at just 36 years old, Amorim led Sporting Portugal to their first league title in 19 years, and they won the league trophy again last season.
Amorim was a former midfielder for Benfica and the Portugal national team, retiring in 2018 and emerging as manager the following year, with Amorim promoted to first-team manager for his outstanding performances in Braga's reserve squad.
With 10 wins in 13 games in charge of Braga, including his first away win over Benfica in 65 years, Amorim has been on the radar of big clubs, and Sporting Portugal is keen to acquire him and paid €10 million to make him manager in March 2020. €10 million is the third highest transfer fee for a manager, with Amorim currently under contract with Sporting Portugal expiring in June 2026.
