Arsenal are in talks with Portugal for Jockrez for £60m.【fangjie】

    the Daily Briefing reports that Arsenal will resume work on the transfer of Portuguese forward Jockrez after Nketia officially joined Marseille.

    Arsenal have long been interested in Jockerez, with Portugal hoping to activate the £86 million release clause for a prospective buyer, but Arsenal want to test Portugal's attitude by offering between £55 and £60 million.

    According to sources, Arsenal have held talks with Portugal over Jockrez's transfer, while Chelsea and Atletico are also monitoring the forward's movements.

   Chelsea see Jockreis as a fallback option in the event of a failed bid for Osmayne, who they believe is too high a price from Napoli. Atletico is also one of the potential next homes for Joacres. Liverpool are understood to have also looked at Jockeys, but the striker is not their focus this summer.

   Last season Jockerez played 50 games in all competitions in Portugal, contributing 43 goals and 15 assists, including 33 games in the Portuguese Super League, contributing 29 goals and 9 assists.
