Paris Saint-Germain are close to signing Kvarac Helia
Paris Saint-Germain have agreed a deal with Napoli to sign Hevica Kvaraczhelia for a fee of €70m.
Paris Saint-Germain have stepped up negotiations in the last few hours to complete the signing of Kvarac Helia. According to French media reports, the Georgia star will sign a four-and-a-half-year contract. He is expected to complete a medical examination by the end of the week.
After unsuccessful talks in the summer, PSG revived the deal as Napoli demanded a fee in excess of €100 million at the time and played hardball during negotiations. However, coach Antonio Conte confirmed that Kvaraczhelia had asked to leave the team.
From the start, Kvaraczhelia identified Paris Saint-Germain as the ideal destination after coach Luis Enrique expressed a desire to sign him in a bid to solve the French capital's problems up front, particularly in the Champions League.
In the 2024/25 season, Kvaratzhelia made 19 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals and recording three assists. He was the discovery of European football during the 2020/2023 season, helping Napoli win the Serie A title with a stunning performance alongside Victor Osimgen.
As well as the Kvaraczhelia deal, Paris Saint-Germain are also close to signing Randal Colo Muani on loan to Juventus. The Italian side have agreed terms with Paris Saint-Germain on a short-term deal that runs until the end of the season.
Colo Muani joined Paris Saint-Germain in August 2023 for €95 million, but his performance has failed to live up to expectations. Mouani is no longer in Enrique's plans this season and has been left out of the squad for the last three games.
